Absolutely! Treadmill training is one of the safest forms of structured exercise when done by professionals. Our handlers are trained in canine conditioning and safety protocols. The controlled environment eliminates risks like traffic, aggressive dogs, or uneven terrain. We also adjust speed and incline based on your dog's fitness level, age, and breed.
Most dogs love it! Treadmill training taps into their natural instinct to move and work. Dogs thrive on routine and structure, and many become excited when they see our van arrive. We use positive reinforcement and take time to build confidence. For first-timers, we have a special intro session that goes at their pace with extra patience.
No problem! Most dogs we work with have never seen a treadmill. We offer a specialized Intro Session ($65) designed specifically for first-timers. We start at a gentle walking pace and give your dog time to adjust with lots of encouragement. Most dogs are trotting confidently within 5-10 minutes.
It's entirely up to you! Many clients work from home and watch from their window or stay inside. Some prefer to be outside with their dog, especially during the first few sessions. We send you a personalized video recap after each session so you can see their progress even if you're not watching.
